1. Ordering & Customization
How does the custom design process work? Every Designer Chandelier is handcrafted to your specifications. After you place an order, our design team prepares detailed shop drawings confirming the size, materials, and technical specs. We do not begin manufacturing until we receive your written approval of these drawings.
Can I change my order after it has been placed? You may request changes at any time before you approve the final shop drawings. Once you provide written approval and production commences, no further changes can be made as the materials are uniquely prepared for your fixture.
2. Shipping & Delivery
How much does shipping cost? We offer Free Shipping on all orders delivered within the United States. There are no hidden delivery fees at checkout.
What is the total estimated delivery time? Because our products are bespoke and handcrafted, the total delivery time is 17 to 66 business days. This includes:
- Handling (Manufacturing): 14 to 56 business days.
- Transit (Shipping): 3 to 10 business days.
What is the daily order cut-off time? Our daily order cut-off time is 5:00 PM (GMT-06:00) Central Standard Time (Chicago). Orders placed after this time will begin processing the following business day.
3. Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns or exchanges? To maintain the integrity of our bespoke process, we do not accept returns or exchanges on custom-made orders once production has begun. We encourage all clients to review their shop drawings carefully during the approval phase.
What if my chandelier arrives damaged? While we package our fixtures with extreme care, transit damage can occur. If any part of your chandelier is damaged upon arrival, we will provide replacement parts at no additional cost. Please report any damage with photos to info@designerchandeliers.net within 14 days of delivery.
4. Technical & Installation
Do I need a professional to install my chandelier? Yes. For safety and warranty purposes, we require all Designer Chandeliers to be installed by a licensed electrician. We are not liable for damages resulting from improper or unlicensed installation.
Are your chandeliers compatible with US electrical standards? Absolutely. All our fixtures are manufactured to meet standard US electrical requirements (110v-120v) unless otherwise requested for international projects.
